Education

I started Bassoon studies at the Municipal School of Music of Sabadell in 2004 under the tutelage of Joan Xicola and joined the Conservatory in 2008, where I finalized my musical studies in 2014 after being acknowledged during my trajectory with the diploma and honour prize. These are the only two prizes that the Conservatory grants to recognize the excellence during the 2nd and 6th course respectively.

My musical studies continued from 2014 to 2018 at the Municipal Conservatory of Badalona with professor Maria Crisol while I was studying a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in parallel.

I have also received masterclasses from internationally renowned bassoonists such as Gustavo Núñez, Silvia Coricelli, Salvador Sanchis (during the intensive week of the high-performance course of Ad Libitum), Bernardo Verde and Antonio Lozano.

Orchestral Trajectory

My first symphonic appearance was in 2011 with JOSV and I was also invited by the same orchestra in 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2017. I have also played as principal bassoon with Orquestra Simfònica Sant Cugat, the Band of Cerdanyola, Jeunesses Musicales of Sabadell and at the European project Tutti organized by JOIC. Between 2015 and 2018 I have been the principal bassoon of JOCG and I have been titular bassoon of the Youth Barcelona Orchestra (JOSB). I have also been a titular member of the Simfònica Tekhné Orchestra between 2015 and 2017 and collaborated with JOFICAT and UNESCO orchestras. Besides that, I played the bassoon and the contrabassoon at the International Regions Symphony Orchestra (IRO) held at Germany in 2016 and 2017. I have also been the principal bassoon of the Lausanne Student Chamber Orchestra from 2018 to 2020 and of the Orchestre Symphonique et Universitaire de Lausanne in 2020. I am currently the first bassoon of the Collegium Musicum Berlin Symphony Orchestra.

During the stay at the previous orchestras, I had the honor of being under the baton of renowned conductors such as Gilles Apap, Salvador Brotons, Miguel Hernández Silva, Joshua dos Santos, Florian Krumpöck, Rubén Gimeno, Sebastian Tewinkel, Michiel Delanghe, Hannes Reich, Simone Perugini, Gonçal Comellas and José Trigueros. I have also played with international soloists such as Gilles Apap, Claire Huangci, Maximilian Hornung, Yuriy Bekker, Josep Colom and Mariona Camats.
